New pThe commercial company Sogescar, SA arose in its day to respond to the social conflict of FSC thanks to the intervention of the municipal government and the Municipal Housing and Land Company, ESISA, which closed an agreement with the financial entity Unicaja, to constitute the mixed company and put on the table the only offer until then viable and able to settle the social debt incurred.
The purchase of the land affected by the liquidation was included at the time in a broader operation aimed at acquiring the land owned by the extinct San Carlos Factory in an attempt to give the best possible solutions to the families of the workers of that company and that after the crisis of the same one had been left in an economic situation more than delicate; therefore, the purchase of said land and therefore, the constitution of Sogescar, is marked by a clear social character.
After a first payment, the company acquired ownership of the land. Within its tasks, ESISA is entrusted with all the management, as well as the urban development of the area, which is governed by parameters set in the agreement signed with the City Council, where free spaces and green areas for public use prevail and where Commercial and hotel use is combined with residential use so that economic activity and productive uses do not disappear. ESISA was able to guarantee urbanization criteria, wide open spaces, visual permeability and endowment equipment and also its intervention allows the public administration and therefore the citizens of San Fernando, to participate in all the capital gains that the operation will generate.
At this time the administrative processing of urban planning instruments is being followed.
